“Donald is a keeper for us. He recently put a new door through the back wall of our small spare bedroom and squared off the corner of an old brick fireplace in the room. He laid new oak skirting boards (custom made) and a vinyl floor. The room was finished and painted to our specs. Along the way he custom-made a beautiful oak bannister for the stairs and a metal outside bannister railing for the steps (also laid by him with bricks matching the surrounding foundation wall) leading off the new door. We were away out of country for all this, and he kept us fully appraised of his progress with lots of photos. When we returned the place had been cleaned throughout and it was spotless. We were incredibly impressed with the quality and finish of his workmanship - which as described needed a wide range of skills. He is a thoroughly competent and knowledgeable contractor whom we will willingly ask for any future work.”
