What customers say

I had operation of my both knees for arthritis. I was looked after by an excellent Physiotherapist at Physis, Mayfield Gardens Edinburgh. His name is Darren Cornforth. I myself is a consultant Doctor but I am writing this review as a patient. At every physio session, Darren spent enough time in explaining what he is doing and why? And he answered all my questions during and after my Physio session. On top of this he gave me a list of exercises to do every day at home as Wibbi app. Wibbi (formerly Physiotec) is a comprehensive digital rehabilitation platform and app that allows physiotherapists to prescribe, track, and manage customized home exercise programs for patients video It was amazing. My recovery of my both knees are excellent. I am now able to look after my 1 yr old grandson and also able to do many of the the rituals of my Jain religion which requires kneeling. I am 75 yr old. My husband died recently. He was a consultant Radiologist. Without Darren's excellent physiotherapy for my both knees I don't know how I would have survived. My husband''s 77 yr heavenly birthday was last month . I’m sure he is looking at the recovery of my both knees down from above and showering his blessings🙏 Thank you very much to Darren and his team.

Ola was like a ray of sunshine for me during a very challenging recovery from hip replacement surgery. My husband had recommended her and the minute I arrived, I felt comfortable and like I was in safe hands. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and makes you feel comfortable and motivated to get back to health and mobility. I can’t thank her enough and would highly recommend her.

Been using Physis for a few years now both for vertigo and tendonitis. Great professional and friendly service from Darren Cornforth for both issues. He is one of the few physios in Edinburgh able to do the Epley manoeuvre for vertigo. Tendonitis required a few sessions of shockwave therapy with associated exercises. This worked so well that I was able to complete the Camino Francés recently… a walk of 600 miles…. and I’m no spring chicken. Highly recommend this practice.
