“My experience with Forth Stone has been exemplary. We needed both smooth Ashlar and coursed rubble stone for a domestic extension project and I took pot luck and called in one day to receive a most warm welcome and enjoy an informative chat with Anne, the yard manager, who showed me the best match for my house and introduced me to Rab the yard foreman who was similarly friendly, interested and informative. Receiving an acceptable estimate, in short order, a detailed inspection and measurement was undertaken promptly by Billy, their site foreman and he too was warm, knowledgeable and thorough. The stone was cut and dressed in good time and I was kept informed all along and invited to see the stone at the yard as my order was progressing. An initial quantity was dropped off by John and yes, he too was friendly helpful and careful. I needed some top up pieces before the main bulk of the order was due to be picked up by a local haulier and that was no problem either and I have made visits both with a hired van and my car and each time promptly and warmly received in the yard. I am delighted to have found Forth Stone and as a home owner have found their service to suit me completely. I am happy to recommend Forth Stone without hesitation.”
