What customers say

My family and I went here last month celebrating the in-laws wedding anniversary. The clubhouse gives paroramic views of the fairways and tees. The clubhouse has been refurbished and is looking new and modern. Menu includes everything from breakfast and coffee, to lunch and dinner options. We arrived mid afternoon. I was impressed by the good options on the menu. They have your usual classics and some other items you wouldn’t expect for a clubhouse. We also thought the value was reasonable as portion sizes were substantial. I went with the prawn sizzler. It was definitely sizzling but I felt the onion/pepper to prawn ratio was off. I had far too many onions and peppers and not enough prawns. It tasted good though. I also ordered a “side” of the loaded fries and omg it was enormous. My side was bigger than my main. I wasn’t complaining though as I am a greedy sod anyway and it tasted great. My wife went with the scampi and chips which she enjoyed, although it was nothing particularly special. My one year old daughter was with us and we ordered the meatballs from the main menu. We asked for a smaller portion but it came and it was massive. I am not sure how they were expecting her to eat all of that. Unfortunately she wasn’t a fan of the meatballs anyway so we took it home with us. Another example of their portions being massive was the onion rings my niece ordered. They were meant to be a side but it was as big as a normal main. She wasn’t able to eat them all so had to share them out. We felt that the service was a little disappointing. They were pleasant enough but service was slow and we had to ask a few times for colouring in pencils for our daughter. In the end we had to fetch them ourselves. The restaurant was very quiet so they weren’t exactly busy. Overall - good food, decent value. Service and portion sizes need work on.

Went in for the first time for Sunday brunch. Had the Full breakfast deal 2 for £20. Amazing value. Great breakfast in lovely surroundings with excellent service. Highly recommend.

Went for breakfast as a non member. The clubhouse is lovely, really clean with friendly, welcoming staff. Two full Scottish breakfasts with toast and coffee, was fantastic value at £20. The coffee is excellent and would definitely be considered large. (vegetarian options are available) The food was top notch, one of the best breakfasts I've had in quite a while. Service was super quick too. Small touches like warm milk for the coffee and butter served warm, made it a lovely experience. The view form the clubhouse is great, looking out over the golf course and the first tee. Overall, great food in a nice, welcoming environment.
