“I recently booked an appointment for nail extensions and a pedicure. Upon arrival, I was informed by the nail technician that she could not remove the existing nails applied at another salon, as she would not have enough time and the salon does not remove nails done by other technicians. I was also told that they do not work with acrylic nails. After a brief discussion between the nail technician and her manager, they offered to remove the acrylic nails and apply shellac, but not nail extensions. This seemed contradictory to the initial information I received regarding acrylic removal. During this exchange, the manager suggested that I should still pay for the appointment, even though I had not been informed that the scheduled 1 hour 45 minute appointment did not include removal of existing nails, and that this service would require a separate booking and additional payment. As a result, I received only the pedicure, which was completed nicely; however, the service cost £35, and the £10 deposit I had paid was neither refunded nor deducted from the final payment. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, particularly as I was excited to try your salon. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to clarify service inclusions and improve communication for future clients.”
