Pho Delicious Bonnyrigg Plaza

“An awful first experience today. Ordered 3 dishes at 11.40am and didn't get our last dish until 12.30pm. The pho and hu tieu xao came out within 15 minutes. The red rice and crispy chicken took the longest. We think what happened is that our dish was given to someone else who was waiting for the same thing (order 17, who complained about the wait even though we were order 15 and she ordered after us ). Food wise, it was only OK, pho was too sweet and too much msg, the hu tieu had good wok hei but a little salty and the crispy chicken was a little dry, though the red rice was nicely flavoured and made with some sticky rice . You do feel for the workers being inundated but they seemed to have enough staff ( 1 cashier, 3 distributing the cooked foods and at least 4 people in the kitchen). I wouldn't go back any time soon, walk the 600m or drive to Pho Co Hai nearby. For the same price its a much better experience, you get better and quick service and generally better food and actual bowls and plates and cutlery. Here you get plastic bowls and plates ( except the Pho which came in a proper bowl).”

“Pho was very delicious. Not a massive serve, but very reasonable. Quality ingredients. Food came out quickly in under 5 minutes. Their shakes are also a must have. Avocado and Durian and the fresh sqeezed orange juice had us coming back for seconds. Great to have a solid Pho option at the plaza, friendly staff and wish them success for their new business. We'll be back.”

“Ordered Pho Dac Biet. 22mins wait even though I was the first order. Girl at the counter not very friendly. Even in Cabra you get much better service. The pho was actually not bad. If I wanted a quick and good pho next time, ill drive the extra 10mins to Meos Kitchen in Green Valley.”
