“Me and my partner are on holiday at the beautiful dalhousie castle, we thought we would spend a nice evening in the orangery resturant, unfortunately the resturant did not come close to the standards of the rest of the establishment. Approximately 30 seconds after we were seated, before I had even had the chance to open the drinks menu we were asked by a very stern and seemingly angry Scottish man what drinks we wanted, so I requested a minute to actually read the menu. Shortly our food order was taken, our food was severed fast food style (get them in, get them out). I found the starter to be truly unpalatable but put this down to my error in ordering something I was unsure about in the first place. The main was served Approximately 3 seconds after our plates were cleared, the beef was extremely dry and lacking any flavour. The decor and atmosphere definitley seemed a secondary concern compared to their AA rosette dining in the dungeon. For a meal for 2 at over £100 much more was expected. Definitely won't be visiting again”
