“We were under the impression that the belt system would provide our son with a structured way of learning coding. We had even moved him from a different after-school coding club because that programme lacked clear structure. Unfortunately, despite attending weekly, he has not made any progress in 7+ months. We did not enrol our son just to pass time but to help him genuinely learn coding, and we know he is capable of more. It would be helpful if the programme offered clearer milestones, regular feedback, and more active support when children get stuck. Without this, the belt system feels more symbolic than practical, and progress is hard to measure. 09/10/25 Update: I've updated my rating from 2 to 3 stars since Code Ninjas is now addressing my concerns. I’ll update this review again if I see further progress.”
