He has said that she "really listens" to him, and that she is very kind and patient. His guitar skills are coming along nicely too! I was pleased at how adaptable Jane was when discussing goals for the lessons. She was more than happy to accommodate my wish that they work though the rock guitar grading system, as I though Max would benefit from an approach with structure and some rewards along the way. I have always found her replies to emails etc, to be prompt and helpful. Jane has struck a nice balance in working through tracks on the chosen curriculum, while also incorporating some that Max has specifically requested - to keep his interest up!
