“I had the wet belt replaced on my Transit van recently, and after doing a fair bit of research, I decided to get a quote from Williamsons. The price for what I needed — wet belt, water pump, service, etc. — was really competitive and a lot cheaper than my local Ford garage. I travelled over from Glasgow, dropped the van off, and it was ready to collect Tuesday afternoon just as promised. The whole experience was great — proper professional service from a genuine workshop. It’s not one of those flashy garages with coffee machines and bright lights charging ridiculous prices — just honest, quality work. Really happy with everything and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Williamsons to family and friends. I’ll definitely be back when the van needs more work done!”

“Had my car down at Williamson Bros garage this week for a replacement of the notorious wet timing belts on Ford Vehicles and I honestly couldn't recommend them enough. Driving a MK8 Fiesta and having ticked over 60,000 miles I was aware that the welt belt issue commonly affects my car and thus I'd opted to have it dealt with sooner rather than later before it became an issue. I spend the past couple months researching garages across Scotland who specialise in this work and time and again landed back at Williamson Brothers who clearly aren't just locally recommended but rather are across the country and are THE go to garage for this specialist work. I am very precious with my car, having previously only ever had work done by Ford however knew my car would be in safe hands here. A quick email to confirm availability, and a couple of days later it was in and completed in a day and a half. Upon completion I was able to pick back up without and issue and communication throughout the process was exceptional - reception staff are truly a credit to the garage. I had a lovely a chat with two of the mechanics at the garage too who also invited me into one of the bays to show me on another car what was actually done to my car, explained the process behind it, and what it looks like as its being changed. This garage really is a gem, with technicians who know these cars better than anybody else, who are personable and friendly and are just genuinely really nice people who pride themselves on delivering an excellent service at an exceptionally reasonable price. I would HIGHLY recommend this garage for any and every aspect of servicing and mechanical repairs and I am so thankful for how well they looked after my car, and me, through the process. 5 stars really doesn't do them justice - I'll be returning without doubt for any subsequent work and servicing needed on my car.
