“The number 140 and 141 late all the time, even the first at 4.57. Some buses just doesn't come, probably late too much. Next one is half an hour later. The drivers don't care about lateness, they have a work time, that's it. Many people use the buses for travel to work. But these are not reliable buses. Unfortunately we don't have other option. On the buses the heating never use, and the wifi same, never works. Poor service for regular price.”

“The discriminatory behaviour from Certain staff members on the 141 and 140 buses is disgusting. I have stage 4 cancer, have seizures and need to be close to a toilet. Again today when standing flagging g down the bus in inversesk village the buses drivers smile, shrug and keep driving. There is no bus sign on the road to Penicuik so I have stood at three different places and have been refused access to public transport. I have a disability and I am now taking this further, this is the worst bus service I have encounteredI travel on borders buses, Lothian buses but East Lothian needs to reeducate their staff. A few staff members always allow me to get off at any stop as long as it’s safe and they have asked where I want to get off. I am going to say this but it seems to be the foreign staff who do not understand that if it is safe and I have asked then it is ok to get off. I have asked a polish man before, he ignored me when I got on the bus in Dalkeith and then would t let me off. As I said said before have a disability. I even showed this polish man my bus pass and he still ignored me.”
