“Look, let's be honest - if you can get an appointment at any kind of dentist you'll take it. They've not been particularly bad with the dental work, I don't dread getting a checkup with them, though the way they run things is kind of annoying. Every time I've come in for my checkup they've been running behind schedule unapologetically (even as I write this now, I'm sitting in the waiting room - my appointment was for 4.15, I got here at 4.05 and they haven't told me how long I'll be waiting for @4.30) They love a cheeky upsell as well. Every time it's a push for the mega super bling bling tooth cleaning rather than the soggy NHS funded one. As I said before, with the state of dentistry in the country perhaps we're in no position to shop around but I'd probably go somewhere else if there was an option.”

However, my nerves were put at ease straight away by Adelene, who was calm, reassuring, and really took the time to explain everything clearly. A big thank you also to Polly on reception, who was warm and welcoming and helped make the whole experience feel much less daunting.
