“I had a consultation with Erika today. Erika was lovely, and you can tell she’s great at extensions. However, I’m unable to get extensions with her as I posted a negative review about the colourist (hair by Nicole) online. Nicole works at Erika’s her salon, and Erika recommended her to me. Unlike my consultation with Erika, my experience with Nicole was terrible. After my appointment, I returned for my extension consultation and shared with Nicole how unhappy I was. She wouldn’t give me a refund but she did try to fix my hair when I pointed out how patchy and orange it is (which she initially denied, but eventually acknowledged when I showed her the photo, attached). It looked slightly better after she added lowlights, but is still patchy and orange, and nothing like the inspiration picture (which she stated initially she could get a close (but not perfect) match to. She declined my request for a refund after the second attempt (it’s going to cost a lot to colour correct at a different salon) and unfortunately I didn’t feel confident that she would be able to fix it (and, in my opinion, asking someone to return a third time after paying £120 is unreasonable). I didnt feel I could share this with her in person a second time as she had told me throughout the appointment(s) how annoyed she was with a previous customer who was unhappy with their colour. My 1 star review is for the salon, not Erika individually. I recognise this can often be a matter of opinion and so I’ve attached the photos so others can make up their mind. The final photo is after Nicole had attempt to fix the patchiness.”

“Very disappointed. I had a consultation and went ahead with a weave as discussed. I actually left the salon happy, my hair was coloured matched perfectly and it looked gorgeous. Unfortunately when I came to wash my hair and straighten it I saw I had a ledge and the actual cut was awful. This was supposedly a blend. I reached out to Erika and she offered to get me back in to fix it. Meanwhile I had 2 independent consultations and I realised that there was no fix in reattaching my hair. I have lost a lot of money and time trying to fix the mess which is my hair and I refuse to go back after so much damage has been done. This has been an expensive learning curve for me and please do your research before using Erika’s services. UPDATE she is not a hairdresser! Had I been told this I would not have used her services”

“Erika is fantastic in both her skillset and her professionalism. She transformed my hair for me after it was severely damaged from a previous experience with extensions. I had to have my weave removed for an emergency MRI a few weeks ago and she went above and beyond to make sure I had them refitted as soon as I was well enough. She’s a superstar.”
