“Dave built a bothy for me, based on a basic design idea and a vague sketch. There were no building plans, but he created a brilliant garden bothy using larch planks and freshly cut natural-shaped oak posts. All the twists and turns of the natural shapes add fantastic character. With a stove and a green roof it is the best place to be, year round. He was a great guy to have around as well. Funny and hard-working, and he even taught me about woodwork, using chisles and carving. If you want a summerhouse that is unique, rather than boringly normal, get Dave. You won't be disappointed.”
