What customers say

I jokingly call Anna my Witch Doctor, but in reality she is so much more. That’s mainly down to her impeccable knowledge around the scientific-base of Acupuncture, which having studied branches of Western medicine, just fascinates me! I came to Anna mainly in the depths of a major depressive episode, this was on the back end of a spinal cord injury and various other medical interventions and surgeries, resulting in chronic pain. That manifested into insomnia, anxiety, depression, no appetite, and restless legs. Genuinely from the moment I met Anna I felt calm, understood and hopeful. Alongside her meticulous attention to detail with physically and emotionally understanding how best to treat you, she has true healing energy all around her. You can’t learn that, some people are just supposed to be in specific roles, and Anna is one of them when it comes to being an Acupuncturist! My main pain problem initially was with daily excruciating SI joint pain in my lower back following a spinal operation, within a few sessions, this pain had dramatically reduced, and now after 7 sessions, I barely feel it. Anna knows I enjoy reading science-based-evidence so she is always sharing papers with me or new knowledge she has learnt on courses, and I just continually think ‘wow!’. Every time I have walked out of Anna’s clinic I feel uplifted and hopeful, and within a few days my symptoms have always drastically improved. I jokingly tell her she will never get rid of me as a client, but realistically, I am probably just holding on to someone who has made me feel seen and heard with trying to heal for the first time in a very long time. Thank you, Anna.

There is a feeling you get when you find “your” therapist, and that’s how I feel about Anna. She is thorough, perceptive, kind, and helpful. She treats the whole person, not just the bits that you are worried about. I went for acupuncture to help with chemotherapy related side-effects. Anna took a thorough history and listened carefully before doing anything. I felt heard. The acupuncture has been transformative and I love how Anna tells you how and why it is effective. Above all, Anna never promised to fix me. She has allowed me to participate in my journey to healing. If you haven’t guessed already: I recommend you see her.

Anna has been treating my chronic sore back/sciatica & sore knee for the past 6 weeks with acupuncture. She has helped both my back and knee considerably & made much more of a difference than other physiotherapy & osteopathy treatment I have had for the past two or three years. I hope that with further treatment my improvement will continue. Anna is very kind, understanding & encouraging. She has explained what she is doing at every stage & is very reassuring. Having acupuncture treatment from Anna has been a very positive experience which I would recommend.
