“I have been fairly healthy most of my life but have been struggling with chronic fatigue, gut imbalance, and chronic pain for the last few years. I have tried just about every Western medicine including getting tested for sleep apnea (negative), standard blood work (nothing substantial), and regularly seeing a psychologist. They were not able to find anything "wrong" with me. I started seeing Lisa in October, and ramped up in December and after just the first few sessions, I started to feel a little lighter. At first it was just a few hours after the session, and then I went back to my baseline of being tired. But over the last few months my energy has started to return, my pain is starting to subside, and my gut is feeling a bit more settled. I am working with other practitioners including a functional medicine doctor who has put me on some supplements after a barrage of testing, and a physiotherapist who is working with me to calm my nervous system and get things working together. As a former engineer and "logical" person, I shunned Eastern medicine far longer than I should have. Just because I didn't properly look into it and understand it doesn't mean it wasn't going to be helpful. I'm glad I gave it a try and found the right practitioner!
