“A cash-only establishment, which already speaks volumes. I was quoted £27 to service a Dyson Animal Complete and attended to drop it off accordingly. The shopkeeper was markedly discourteous, but the most remarkable aspect was the absolute refusal to provide any form of receipt whatsoever, not even a handwritten note, to acknowledge the handover of my £460 appliance. A very basic request. One can only marvel at such anachronistic and thoroughly questionable business practices. Unsurprisingly, I declined to proceed with the servicing and would strongly advise others to exercise considerable caution.”
