“I’ve been meaning to try this place for some time & I wanted to like it, but I didn’t have the best recent experience compared to other bakeries in Edinburgh. The main positive was the vegan banana & coconut cake which was lovely, but my cheese toastie was disappointingly pretty burnt. I know some people don’t mind it like this, but I’m not a fan. On top of this, the two waitresses seemed to have tension between each other & one seemed to be unaware that their tone towards the other wasn’t the friendliest in front of the customers, which affected the vibe for me.”

“I popped in yesterday for a quick coffee and a cake. The cake was a bit expensive and not the best-looking, especially when compared to other Edinburgh bakeries. Overall it tasted decent. On a positive, the young blonde woman at the counter was very helpful and welcoming, and service was quick. The mood was slightly dampened when an older woman (the baker?) was quite short with the staff - constant complaining, very loud.”
