What customers say
★★★★★“I stopped by Project Canelé and tried their hot chocolate and a canelé. The hot chocolate was decent—nice and warming, though not particularly memorable. However, the canelé was excellent: beautifully baked with a rich, caramelised exterior and a soft, custardy centre. It was easily the highlight of my visit and absolutely worth coming back for. The café itself has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were genuinely lovely—friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, while the hot chocolate was just okay, the canelé alone makes this place a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning, especially for the pastries.”
★★★★★“Visited Project Canelé for the first time today and had a lovely time. I was told to go by my barber who ranks the cafe number one in the city, so my expectations were potentially too high. The coffee was thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my boyfriend, drank alongside a canéle and flan. The pastries were good. I was heavily enticed by their chocolate cake that sat in the case at the entrance but saw most people raving about the goods chosen instead. Nice atmosphere and standard service. Would visit again.”
★★★★★“True to its name, the canelé here is absolutely delicious! The best one I’ve had recently. The focaccia sandwich was also amazing, especially because the focaccia itself was so good. Definitely a place I’ll be visiting often!”
