Went there first time today to see what they offer. Wasn’t too sure when seen some prices, but I went for the almond croissant for £3.80 .. and oh my gosh… that’s the best thing I have tested like this , it’s been worth every penny !! Like a famous $5 Pulp Fiction milkshake! Fabulous!! Will be back to check rest of your menu !! Thanks guys !

How can you not give this place 5 stars!! Conveniently (or maybe not so much for my waistline), it’s right on my work doorstep. Fortunately, they have limited opening hours, sparing me from daily temptation. Pop ups are Wednesdays 9am-12pm and Fridays 10am-1pm or until they have sold out, which is quick these days. They have also started opening on Thursdays 10am-1pm recently, so another day in which I have to refrain myself. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They prioritize locally sourced ingredients and have an eco-friendly mindset. I adore their menu, especially the sourdough loaves with their soft, fine crumb, which have won numerous awards. Their sweet treats, ranging from filled croissants to lemon meringue tarts, are also crowd-pleasers. My personal favorite is the pistachio and raspberry filled croissant. The filling was sweet but not overpowering and the pastry is melt in your mouth tasty. Oh yes, get in my belly!! The cinnamon buns are also up there with the best I’ve had, maintaining its moistness throughout the whole bun, without it being a soggy mess. I’ve sampled some of their savory items as well, such as the Brie and caramelized onion Danish and cheese twists, both of which were excellent. However, I wasn’t as impressed with the sweet potato and feta roll and the mushroom and tarragon bake, but that’s just my personal taste. They consistently offer staples while also experimenting with specials like a delicious strawberry basket or a rhubarb slice that didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Their willingness to experiment is something I love; it adds excitement to each visit. If you decide to visit, and I highly recommend you do, get there early and be prepared for a line. Parking can be a bit challenging since it’s located in a busy industrial estate (which explains my lower atmosphere score), but you can also park in the nearby housing estate and walk a bit – a good way to burn some calories before indulging (which I tend to do). It would be great if they offered more lunch options, like sandwiches and toasties, using their fantastic sourdough bread. Some meat options would also be welcome, though I’m not sure if they focus exclusively on vegetarian offerings. Overall, this place is a gem. It’s building a great community and reputation. Imagine where they will be in 5 years - only up! I can’t recommend this place enough! P.S. they also have a pop up in Dunbar and supply various businesses in the area.

We had a pumpkin pie from Station House and it was one of the best pumpkin pies I’ve ever had. We drove from Edinburgh just to have it and it was definitely worth the trip!
