“What a great experience with our takeout! The owner was extremely nice, and our food was excellent. The portions are really generous, and the spice level was just perfect. My wife likes zero spice, and I asked for just a bit on mine. Both were just perfect. We will be coming to the area again from Texas in the future and will definitely add this spot to our must eat list!”

“As for Indian takeaways go in Midlothian this is a goodie. The service was on point. I went to collect our order and he had forgotten to pack a drink but thankfully he ran out and caught me before I drove off. Our curries were tasty. My wife got the pasanda and she rated it highly and my rogan Josh was also enjoyable. Both were flavourful and good portion. We got chicken puri for starters but this wasn’t quite as advertised as it was meant to come with puffed fried bread but as per picture it was more like a wrap which didn’t taste all that great. The chicken puri itself was disappointing as well. The outer shell was squeaky and lacking any crisp. The flavour was okay. The garlic naan we got as a side was fine. Overall, a decent Indian with good curries but don’t expect awesome sides/starters. We were also surprised at the bill. 40 odd £ for a takeaway for 2. Maybe that’s normal these days with the COL going up.”

“If you’re craving comforting, authentic curry dishes on a winter evening, look no further than this place. The first time I visited, the owner warmly welcomed me with a hot drink—even though it wasn’t on the menu—after I asked if they served tea/ chai. The food arrived on time, hot, sizzling, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The staff are always courteous, friendly and attentive to customer needs. What more could you ask for?”
