★★★★★“I've tried pretty much all the barbers in Leith.. and if I'm honest, I won't be going anywhere else going forward. 2nd visit today with Adrian, great lad, proper attention to detail and really knows what he's doing, especially when it comes to beards. The cheap prices did kind of put me off, thinking i was going to get a poor cut, happy to say I was totally wrong. 100% recommend!”
★★★★★“As a female with short hair, I have never been to a barbers before and was a bit apprehensive when I wandered in. Before agreeing to cut my hair the barber asked what I wanted, looked at my current cut and said he could do it. He talked to me the whole time to put me at ease and my hair looks great. Would definitely recommend!”
★★★★★“I (F) have been here for a couple of times and I was always happy with the result and treatment. Recently I have visited the barbers after work, I know they close at 5 so I basically run to be there before 4pm, the three times I visited this week were unsuccessful and I'm not coming back, they are not reliable and I have just lost time going there that is not going to come back. First visit I arrived at 4pm, the girl there told me she was going to close. I understand you can take an hour to clean the place , but if you are not taking any clients after 4, update your closing time because 5 pm is misleading ( it was not the first time that happened to me). Second time, I arrived at 3.30 pm , the girl told me she was going to finish with a client and close the shop after, and that I should come tomorrow since the lady that usually cuts to short hair woman is in. Third time, I arrived before 3.30 pm (I even left earlier from work) there were no clients and the barber told me she was going to the bank , that I should pop in the other shop. I go to the other shop, the barber over there told me they don't cut women's hair even if it's short , I pointed the signal where it says "short hair woman - £10-15" , he answers that he only knows how to use the hair clippers and I needed scissors, I said okey I go back to the main shop since the barber over there is still on her phone and not in the bank, she tells me she doesn't know how to cut women's hair (again my hair is not really that different from the other times I had cut my hair here) and that I should come on the weekends since the person who knows comes the weekends, I told her I was there already the day before and what the other person told me, she insist that she cannot do it and that I should go on the weekend and finally I give up and leave and she comes back to her phone. So lack of communication between the staff plus most of them just make up the information they give to the customers resulting on me losing a LOT of time just going there for nothing. Train your staff properly if you are going to advertise any kind of service and teach them some customer service skills like clear communication. Not all are this way obviously, I was really happy with the past visits but this really got on my nerves since the staff was just playing with me.”
