★★★★★“Recently got both my kids bikes repaired. One was the front wheel and tyre. The other was the brakes. The guy I spoke to on the phone was really helpful. Explained he needed to check bikes over to be sure before giving a quote. He was great, never tried to rip me off..Staff were really friendly and joking with my boys…Delighted with the service, and was not as expensive as other places that gave me quotes . Very professional set up. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thanks.”
★★★★★“TL;DR: Got quoted wildly inflated prices for a simple bike fix, the staff were dismissive, misdiagnosed the issue, tried to push the cost up to nearly £100, then were rude when I refused. When I collected the bike, they hadn’t even reassembled it, leaving me to carry it home. Overall: overpriced, unprofessional, and disrespectful service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST. i came to fix my bike wheel, and had the impression that the guy was going to rip me off because he didn't even look at the bike that closely before coming to a conclusion that it was gonna cost me £35 for a replacement part and £15 for labour, plus £10 PER WHEEL for adjusting the brake tightness. and when i said i'd like to get my bike back on the same day - which they clearly had the capacity to do so - the guy shrugged it off with "unfortunately everyone who comes here has the same expectation". well excuse me what???? you're charging me bloody £35 quid alone just for labour - same day service is expected without excuses, or just don't charge me that much. then half an hour later, i got a phone call from them telling me that the guy misdiagnosed my bike and it was gonna cost at least £60 to get a replacement part and so at the end it would have cost me nearly £100 to repair my bike. NEVER in my life, have i been quoted a bike fix price more extortionate than this. so of course, i said no, and went to collect my bike. when i arrived, i was shouted by the staff for going straight to see my bike (ok? nice way to treat a customer you're gonna scam £100 from!?), and then was told that he didnt put all the parts back together in the wheel - so i had to carry my bike away. the staff didn't even bother putting the parts back together so i could walk with it. when he saw i had to carry it, he simply shrugged it off with "there's nothing i can do i'm afraid!". no, that is no way to treat a customer - the least you could do is to put my bike back together but you failed to do even the most basic to be a decent human being.”
