“After 6 months of the insurance faffing around the last thing you need when your vehicle is returned is for it not to be actually fixed. Apparently (watch yourselves on this) when speaking to the assessor I was asked what needed replaced I stress replaced so I advised the bits that looked beyond repair whilst also advising of the existing damage on the van. You can imagine my surprise when they return a transit van that went away with matching dents in either rear doors I returned with one door fixed. Now this is the cracker because a compleley untrained technician myself thought they could maybe repair one of the doors as damage was minimal but on my say so the fully untrained guy, they’ve ignored all evidence and their training as insurance assessors and theyve have only fixed one. I thought the guy was wanting to know what parts he needed to order not try and trip me up so they can get out of doing something . It’s just basic laws of physics the doors are locked into each other. They have matching dents what else do you need? I’ve got to be the only guy to have his van rear ended and gets it returned to him looking like Harvey dent from Batman. According to this logic if I told them the front wing needed replaced they would have done that too. I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t have done. One rule for GRM bodycraft another for the customer who actually needs to be guided thru the process because they don’t experience crash repair on a regular basis like GRM bodycraft but like I said I must have opted out of customer service . Normally you’d expect someone to take ownership of the situation but customer service must be extra with these jokers. How can you wait for your van to be fixed and do it wrong ? Apparently I’m the first The only positive thing I can say is the main desk and drivers have been superb but it’s the insurance part you need when you make a claim. I’d swipe left and on to the next repairer.”

“Staff very friendly. Excellent job done on my car. VW polo you gave me to use had to go back the next day as had bulge in tyre. You did replace the VW quickly with other car to use but it had a warning light came on saying required oil change. I filled the VW with £30. Petrol but never got to use the car due to tyre damage and you said you would fill my car up with petrol to compensate but didn’t. So disappointed with that”

“My car went for repair at GRM Bodycraft, Edinburgh following a collision. Staff came to my house and uplifted my car with the guys being very polite and informative. The repair was carried out within 3 weeks and I was issued with a courtesy car for that period. The actual repair and paint job were of a high quality and I was very satisfied with the result. The front office staff were absolutely fantastic. They constantly kept me up appraised of the process and projected completion date. They were more than happy to answer my questions and were very informative. On the completion date, the office staff again contacted me and arranged the return of the car. They organised the vehicle to be brought yo my home address as I was working that day. I found this very helpful as I couldn't get to the garage due to work commitments. They also uplifted the courtesy car. The whole process was fairly stress free and I would not hesitate to use GRM Edinburgh again.”
