“I had high expectations for this establishment after reading lots of positive reviews and even FRC giving it a top score. Unfortunately, I am a little disappointed. On a positive note, they have a good variety of burgers and sides and drinks. However the end product was average. We ordered collection and had to wait much longer than the pickup estimated time. I can’t comment on customer service as they just handed me the food. I ordered the wafflerine milkshake but they forgot to add the waffle! The milkshake itself was pretty good but just no waffle. my wife also enjoyed her American Pie milkshake. Both shakes had a nice consistency. I got the Top Gun burger which was a mammoth with beef patties x 2, chicken fillet, lamb donner, onions, jalapenos, peppers, mayo, spicy chili sauce and cheese. The party of flavours was good but sadly the bun had seen better days. It looked like it had been battered, a bit flat and worn down. It did well to contain what was inside but I think it’s impossible to eat this without getting messy. I unleashed my inner caveman so I didn’t mind having all the juices down my puss! The wife enjoyed her burger but was little prettier than me when she finished hers as she had the simpler good life burger. Both burgers were nice but certainly not the best in Edinburgh which they claim to be. We also got BBQ wings and chicken goujons for sides which were fine but didn’t blow us away. Price wise everything was fair. There a more and more burger joints like these opening up and, although I haven’t tried them all, this is one of the better ones. Cool looking shop too.”
