“Been impressed with service from Clydesdale Classic Cars. I have a 1977 Mercedes 280ce and had been having some running problems particularly moving off from standstill when the car had warmed up. There aren’t many places that deal with cars like this but decided to give them a go. I’m based in Edinburgh and booked the car into Glasgow for diagnostics where they identified ignition issues and recommended I have a few parts replaced. I then booked the car into the Edinburgh branch to have the work done. Dropped the car off the day before on Wednesday and picked it up the following Thursday afternoon with work completed. All very smooth, efficient and a friendly bunch of guys. I was a bit worried about whether they had diagnosed the problem properly but having driven it a couple of times since it is running like a dream 🙂. No more issues moving off from the lights and super pleased! Also shout out to McKenzie organizing the various visits. I’d noticed my screen washers weren’t working properly when I drove the car over on the Wednesday. Flagged with McKenzie at Glasgow branch via email and it was also sorted on the Thursday.
