Such a treat each time we go and if you’re local or visiting Edinburgh then put this on your list. A welcoming drink, a proper hello, and then time taken — unprompted — to explain who they are and why they do things the way they do. Not salesy. Just genuine pride in what they’ve built. The cocktails aren’t just good — they’re the kind that make you pause, look at each other, and quietly accept that your evening plans were optimistic at best. We ditched them. Stayed put. Ate there too. There’s a calm confidence about the place. Beautiful atmosphere, serious attention to detail, and staff who clearly care and know their craft without needing to shout about it. You leave thinking, “Right. That’s the benchmark”
