“Visited Downstairs at Betty’s on a Sunday evening and had the best time!! Such a warm and welcoming place with great drinks and a very talented pianist (Ronan). Started sitting on the sofa but ended up being drawn closer and ended up sat at the bar around the piano belting at showtimes with like minded customers and the owner! No judgments, just likeminded people enjoying the music and singing. It really is a fabulous place. Only on holiday here but if we lived in Edinburgh it would definitely become a local!! Can’t recommend it enough.”

“They had a very descriptive and clear coxktail menu which was exquisite. Lots of ingredients I haven't heard of before. The staff were so nice and made sure we were comfortable, helping us move to different tables and making sure we were warm and even pulled out heaters next to the big glass panes. Pianist was lovely and offered singalongs and requests. Will definitely be back!”

“What not to love about that place? Although it was rather empty when we were there, the atmosphere was great. Lovely musicians, great singing along, great cocktails. The best! We surely will go back there whenever we are in Edinburgh. Lovely evening!”
