“I hosted a birthday party at Lochrin Rooftop, and it was a great, stress-free experience from initial enquiry to the event. The space is fantastic; large enough to accommodate a sizeable group, but intimate enough for a smaller number. Having access to the speakeasy style indoor bar, plus the rooftop area with incredible views is unique in Edinburgh. This really does feel like a hidden gem. The food available is fantastic, fresh made, great choices and options for dietary restrictions. The cocktails are truly impeccable, they are innovative, presented well and made with passion. In terms of organising an event at Lochrin Rooftop, the team could not have been nicer, both before the event and on the night. It was made easy and straightforward to plan, with every detail, big and small being taken care of. There is nowhere like Lochrin Rooftop in the city, it’s a fantastic venue.”

“We came along after eating at a local restaurant. We were sat at the far end of the bar and offered water and menus to continue the birthday celebrations. The cocktails were all well presented and didn’t take too long to arrive. The negron was very good The pina colada was a bit sweet for me (I have had them in Puerto Rico) The mojito must have had a mint syrup as the mint wasn’t in the glass but on top as a garnish. I put the mint in the glass and mashed it in. Nice place, nice atmosphere and nice bartenders.”

“Had a great experience at Loch Rin Bar. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a really relaxed vibe that makes it a great spot to unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and service was quick even when it was busy. Drinks were spot on and reasonably priced, and the overall place was clean and well kept. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet drink or meeting friends, it’s a solid choice. Would definitely recommend and will be back!”
