“Bought a relatively expensive pair of gloves from a reputable brand online, which after 4 wears began to unravel at a seam and have the stitching coming loose. I sent photos to customer service and inquired about whether this counted as a manufacturing defect and what the next steps would be to resolve this. Their response completely ignored the photographic evidence sent to them, and they stated that I had to send it to them for an inspection, at which point they might decide to send it away for up to 4 weeks for the manufacturer to inspect. So potentially I'd have to go 6 weeks without the item I paid for (due to a manufacturing fault). And if the manufacturer decides it was 'normal' then I would have to pay for postage both ways to have the defective item back. The company stocks reputable branded products, but they won't get my custom again due to their ineffective customer service when something goes wrong. It's simpler and quicker for me to stitch back my new gloves together than it is to get a replacement from the company that sold them to me. Would not recommend.”
