“We had a grand time on our 'City Centre, Holyrood Park, Portobello’ tour with Fionn. My wife and I felt very safe and confident riding with him as our guide. He certainly knows the city well as he kept us off cobblestone streets as much as possible and avoided very steep hills as much as possible while at the same time sharing the history and highlights of its neighborhoods. His understanding of the dynamic changes in Edinburgh and Leith was very enlightening and increased my pleasure seeing these areas of change. Change was apparent because the last time we were in Glasgow and Edinburgh was 1978. We gave Fionn some corrections to the directions the company mailed to us for finding the meeting point in Leith. We took the tram to Newhaven but there was no ‘Constitution Street’ stop. Fellow tram riders advised us to get off at ’The Shore’ stop. In addition to not finding ‘Commercial Street’, we were advised by Tram passengers to walk along ‘Bernard Street’ where we would see the sign Timberbush. Thank you for providing the opportunity to explore Edinburgh by bike. I added some of my photos to this site on Google Maps.”
