“I had a problem with my bike while touring a couple of years ago and a random person I met recommended this shop. The mechanic/owner was absolutely fabulous and welcoming, extremely fair. I was cold and drenched from the rain and he offered me tea while he assessed the problem. My touring bike is 30+ years old, unlike most shops he didn’t speak disparagingly about my bike. Fast forward, I’m doing another tour in Scotland and have to replace my wheels, I’m planning the start of my trip around stopping off at his shop to replace the wheels. Finding a mechanic/shop that is welcoming, fair, and helpful is not easy!”
