“I had a failed root canal and despite my usual dentist doing everything they could to save the tooth, the only option was to remove it. I didn't want a gap so discussed options, and decided on an implant. I did my research for specialists in Edinburgh, including recommendations from my usual dentist. I had initial consultations with 3 local specialists, but the minute I met the team at Edinburgh Dental Specialist, I knew they were the right people for me. I felt like they cared about me, I wasn't just the next paying customer. I also liked that they worked with my usual dentist, keeping them up to date with progress, and also recommending that I use them for the routine elements of the work. Unlike some of the other people I had initial consultations with, they didn't try to make unnecessary money from me - or tell me that I needed more work than necessary. The treatment I received was outstanding. From the initial consultation to the completion of my treatment, they took time to explain everything in detail, putting my mind at ease, and making the whole process painless and easy. During the surgical procedures the nurses were wonderful, holding my hand and reassuring me throughout, they even called me the next day to make sure I was ok. I can't fault anything and would highly recommend anyone considering implants to speak to the team. I wish I had done it a year earlier and not suffered for so long. I've had the implant for 2 weeks and I keep looking at it in awe - it looks and feels so real. If I have to get another one, I wouldn't hesitate to go back. I cannot rate the team at Edinburgh Dental Specialists highly enough.”
