“Our 1st experience hiring the woodland walk area. We chose this as it looked very secluded. You go through a gate into your own secure car park which is fantastic. Our very reactive Rommie seemed a bit overwhelmed for the first 10 or so minutes, running away and not coming back when called. She has occasionally been off lead on a deserted beach and at run free fields so this was new for her and us. We were very panicky, which she probably sensed, because it's so big and we couldn't see her most of the time. However we stuck it out and she had a wonderful time. Sniffing and jumping. She even climbed a tree! She didn't seem to mind the traffic noise at all. Couple of scary moments for us though, it does say there's a chance of horses walking on the road but we didn't realise there would be people with dogs walking there too. For owners of a dog that suffers from tremendous fear aggression this wasn't the best and we spent considerably time having to put her back on the lead and keep her away from the fence everytime someone walked past. Kind of defeating the purpose of a no lead area for us. And she also tried to dig under the metal gate at the van entry to the crèche. There was a gap under a part of the gate and being a houdini she started digging to get through. As experiences go this was by far the best place we've been with her in terms of enrichment, but for us the people walking dogs right next to it was really stressful. We'd still recommend to others as lovely and clean 😊”

“Fully appreciate this may work for quite a few owners and their dogs, but it was absolutely not the right environment for us. We went along a few months ago for a visit to see if it would be a good place for our dog. When we arrived , we realised the photos on the website were misleading, there wasn't a big indoor cabin space , but just a space in a fenced off area (albeit more than big enough for the dogs to runs round) but the two biggest letdowns that lead to us not choosing this place were : 1) the 'cabins' as they describe are just sheds with space heaters and cages stacked up on top of each other. Not really suitable environment for putting dogs. I also wondered where on earth do the dogs go when it's a day with heavy rain, snow, ice . They can't possibly all huddle inside the small shed, so are they then put in the crates ? Maybe they can advise. 2)”
