“Unfortunately, my experience working with Bailey (BNE Electricians) hasn’t been a positive one overall. I paid in full in June 2024 for interior electrical work and external lighting for a garden room. The interior work was excellent, and I have no complaints about that. Sadly, the same can’t be said for the external work. After several failed attempts, the external lights were finally working by late July 2024. This was only after I mentioned possible legal action which became necessary due to his lack of communication and intention to return and remedy the situation. By early March 2025, the lights stopped working again. Apparently this was due to a loose connection. It took over five weeks for Bailey to agree to come back, and even then, there were three last-minute cancellations. When he eventually arrived, he remarked that “most people would have someone else come out to fix it,” which seemed unreasonable given I’d be paying someone else for work that I had paid Bailey to carry out. Despite multiple follow-up visits, the lights still aren’t working, and the quality of the work left behind speaks for itself (see photos). On top of this, I was surprised by the explicit language used when talking to himself about me, in front of my children during one of his recent visits. Bailey came across as genuine and friendly at first, and I appreciated some of his recommendations, like the LED strip lighting. I chose him for the job even though he wasn’t the cheapest based upon this. Unfortunately, poor communication and what felt like a lack of care in completing the job properly have completely overshadowed that initial impression. Writing a negative review like this isn’t something I would normally do, however I wouldn’t want someone else to go through the same experience. Since his last visit (29th May) Bailey has blocked my number meaning there is no way to communicate and have this resolved. I now have to pay an additional £194 to have the work completed by a different company.”

“Bailey and Ainsley has carried out a full re-wire of my house. I have found them to be reliable, very courteous, hard working and competent. He also gave me avery reasonable price for the job. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Bailey. He offered me sound advice and he certainly knows his trade. I really appreciated his willingness to come back to complete the second fix in my kitchen, after a significant delay on my part.”

Bailey reviewed the job and provided a quick and fair quotation for the rewire as well as provision of new internal and external lights and plug sockets . When it came to completing the work, Bailey and his team were polite, friendly and professional. All work was completed the efficiently working around my family. Great work Bailey and the team!”
