“Right, first visit here. What I will say is the fish and chips were of great quality and standard. Couple of things that let it down are having to pay for ketchup. Whilst the menu is already pretty expensive for a chippy. The halal aspect is what sold us to this place. Sadly it's more of a treat nowadays. Whilst the service was okay, the staff members kept staring at us which made it somewhat uncomfortable to eat.”

“Great value and excellent quality. Recently opened and found the service was excellent friendly and had a nice chat to the owner. Good choice with some nice different things to choose from. I had a sausage and chip supper and cheese bites. Suggestion would be on the automated screens to have the option to select what drink not just 'diet fizzy' and also a description of what the Spicy fish options are etc and differences, but would highly recommend. Easy to ask and order at desk if needed. Plenty of seating. If I lived locally this would be a regular place and when back for work I'll be coming here to try some more options! Give it a try. Really impressed (I have high expectations on service and quality) Top Marks!”

“We visited Mother Hubbard's for the first time on Sunday not long after opening and it was simply incredible. Super tasty fish ( which is rare these days as alot of places it can be really tasteless) , huge portions, friendly staff and we all left full and happy. Can't fault it . Would definitely visit again .”
