“Becca at Blossoming Gardens was a real find. She is a real listener and observer, and that has proved a wonderful starting point for her work with us. We had moved into a newbuild with a large, steeply sloping back garden area. The soil was very poor, and it had become more like a rocky meadow. Becca understood immediately the hopes we had - for something that bridged from our house to the fields behind us, and easy to maintain. We're rather "novice" gardeners, with not huge amounts of time right now. Becca worked with one of her frequent collaborators (the wonderful Keillor Build) to create a relaxed space of grasses and natural-looking shrubs, plants and trees that, even in its early stages, is blending beautifully with our surroundings. All through the process, Becca has been sensitive and kind, responsive to our ideas, and able to calm any nervousness we had! We would recommend her unreservedly for her garden design skills, knowledge of plants, and warm but precise approach to her work.”

“Becca redesigned our rear garden and it was so successful we are now doing the front garden! This is our first summer with the new design and it is beautiful. Becca will design , work with the landscapers , order your plants and position and plant them . “We approached Becca at Blossoming Gardens to help us redesign the front and back garden in the house we had just moved into. The front had lawn and borders with some poorly maintained shrubs, and the back was mostly concrete and astroturf. Becca helped us design a productive front garden with laid out raised beds, espalier trees and soft fruit plants, while in the back she designed a space with a pond, different seating areas and connecting paths, maximising the space and making it secluded and relaxing. We felt our requirements were all listened to fully and the feedback on the initial plans was acted on considerately. We had some budget considerations and the plans were adjusted accordingly without fuss. The vision she provided in the plans came together really well and we're really happy with the result. We also asked for a plant maintenance plan to be provided; Becca drew this up and provided us with easy instructions for maintaining the plants, many of which are new to us.”
