What customers say
★★★★★“As an American visiting Scotland, but with only time for one round of golf in Edinburgh during the trip, I searched online and found Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society. The course looked great on their website, and they welcome visitors and have rental clubs. The staff was very responsive, and everything was set up through emails. On arrival, we were greeted warmly and welcomed for every aspect of our day. The facilities are very nice, and there is a lot of history and tradition on display in the clubhouse. The rental clubs were a nice Taylormade set. Walking trolleys were available, and we also opted to use a forecaddie. While not typical at this club, it worked out very well. Dougy is a member there, and was great at helping us navigate this unfamiliar course. The course itself is quite lovely, a parkland setup in great condition. There are wonderful views of the Firth of Forth, and beautiful old trees throughout. We were lucky with our weather, and had a great round of golf. A very good walking course, with carts available. A sandwich and beer in the clubhouse after the round capped off a tremendous day. If you have time for a round of golf in Edinburgh, I would definitely recommend Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society.”
★★★★★“My best friend and I booked a round of golf at Bruntsfield while on a cruise of the British Isles. I was impressed with how friendly and welcoming the staff were when we arrived. They were so helpful and when we arrived we were shown everything in detail that we needed to know. I honestly felt like I was at one of my home courses. The driving range was excellent, the complimentary bucket of balls was a nice bonus as well! The course itself was in fantastic shape and is so beautiful. Play was not difficult and we were shocked when we were asked by the group ahead of us if we wanted to play through. That never happens in Canada. Our experience was one I'll not forget and if I'm ever back in Edinburgh I will definitely play Bruntsfield Links again!!”
★★★★★“Great views from the clubhouse. Good food as well. Having played the course many times in the past, it is definitely one for the drier spring to autumn period and not winter.”
