“This shop should really reflect on how they treat their employees and how that treatment impacts customers' experiences. I came in today around 6pm getting 3 bottles of faith in nature product refilled. The shop is understaffed, leaving only one employee on the shopfloor running between the till where a queue is constantly forming and the refill station (because I had 3 bottles it was taking a while). At the same time the manager disappeared into the stockroom or sth for quite a long time despite the customers upstairs getting impatient and his support was urgently needed. It is really unfair for the friendly, helpful and patient employee who served me to be under this stress and feeling bad that she was keeping people waiting. Also, some of the big heavy refill bottles are kept on top of a very tall shelf, it is a safety concern and you really should provide your employees with a stool to reach them properly. The operation of getting the bottle looked precarious what if it slips and drops on someone's face? I have used this shop to refill stuff for over a year, it is very convenient and I would like to support this store. However they should really improve their treatment towards employees. I read some reviews of this shop and it seems people have been reporting seeing staff looking unhappy. From my experience the ground staff have always been lovely but the management should perhaps look to themselves and think about how to improve. If not for the lovely employee I met today this would've been a 2star review.”

“I was super happy to find a place that sells my favourite vegan cheese after searching for it all over, I hurried over after speaking to someone on the phone and confirming they had two of the cheeses on reduced prices. The store looked nice and i was so excited to find a place with all my favourite vegan options that i overlooked the sour faces from the employees. It feels as though they don't want you to be there... I didn't think i'd spent £150 at the time, so i didn't bring any bags, but i was then happy to hear from the casheer that you get a free one with every £50 spent, therefore i assumed i'd get 3 but felt like i had to beg for just one more. When i headed home I realised the cheeses were both off and ineadible and that i was made to pay for all the bags. I thought that calling to ask about the cheeses with a photo would be enough after being a good customer, and guess what? They asked me to bring over the two moudly cheeses to the store for them to consider a refund... So overall, the store is nice but not worth it for the attitude and they don't carry anything you can't find elsewhere for cheaper and for a better experience. For me it will have to be a one time visit.”

“With its convenient location in Tollcross and a wide range of products, I consider this the best organic shop in Edinburgh. Although it’s not huge, you can still find very niche items like millet amazake, wheat germ bread, tempeh, ceremonial grade matcha, and even mugwort mochi. They also sell a range of organic cereals by weight, which works out cheaper overall. There's a selection of tasty — albeit very expensive — vegan and gluten-free snacks as well. The staff are always willing to drop what they're doing to help you find what you're looking for, and they're all consistently polite and helpful. I honestly really enjoy shopping there.”
