What customers say

5 stars for doing something new and important for sustainability and health. I'm no stranger to baking/cooking with bugs as we went through a little alternative proteins craze here in Canada a few years back, and it great to see it elsewhere too! A good selection of different types of insects to try, and for those worried, they're mostly pulverized into fine "flour". You wouldn't even know unless you're told. I grabbed a few different snacks including the berry cake, brownie, and larva ball. While all are on the very dense and moist side, I think the brownie worked best at this texture. (Although it was raining hard that day at the pop-up kiosk so maybe they're normally lighter and drier.) There's no flour, sugar, or butter. It's like health-conscious, eco-conscious vegan baking for non-vegans! I'm a particular fan of crispy, spicy seasoned grasshoppers myself and hope to see those someday. They're a great compliment to a nice cup of hot, sweetened tea.

Delicious!!! Honestly just get past the “bug” part mentally. They ground down the insects and they use that as a substitute for flour. Really tasty and healthy packed with protein!!

Ohh wow! what can i say? Not the bravest of eaters, so a bit abrehensive doesn't cover it. I tried the savory bugs, and they were nice to eat, then an insect brownie! yum! so delicious and light texture just wonderful. I CAN'T believe these products are so full of protein, nothing comes close to this. Suffering severe medical menopause i have changed my diet to high protein as this makes my symptoms so much less. Bugs will definitely be my new thing... (a sentence i thought i would never write)
