★★★★★“I just received my first order from Shibui Tea (cherry pie, chamomile and spearmint), and it's by far the best loose leaf tea I've ever had. The simple recyclable packaging is great, and even nicer that it came with 2 free sample tea bags and a hand written note. I usually go for peppermint tea but thought I'd give spearmint a go and it was a great decision, the flavour is fantastic. Cherry Pie was another new try for me, normally I'd go for something more along the lines of their Berry Wellness, but it was sold out so I gambled with Cherry Pie. Another excellent decision, it's so full of flavour and I love that it had whole cherries in it. The chamomile is fab too, a really delicate flavour for winding down in the evening. Great service, great tea, great value for money. I'll definitely be ordering again!”
★★★★★“Shi Bui tea is amazingly delicious. The range of teas is very wide and enticing. The Jasmine Green tea is my favourite and I have to have one to start my day! The guys who run it are helpful, flexible and knowledgeable. The service always feels very personal and meaningful. The previous owners the house we now live in refused a delivery in our name. Shi Bui were fabulous they re-arranged the order and did not charge us. If you have not tried their tea- you must do so now.”
★★★★★“I bough four different types before Christmas and couldnt be more disappointed. The Sencha green tea is especially dull in flavour, the type that is given out for free in a Japanese restaurant . It seems to be either a older batch that has oxidized, or just a cheap blend. Whilst drinkable, it's not enjoyable and completely over priced. The others were a little better, any oriental store can give you this type of product for a lot less money. Final note. The packaging is excessive. They send a tiny amount of product in a 400ml tube, which then needs to be sent in a box, all of which you will be paying for in postage. The vast amount of tea in Japan, even some high grades just come in Sachets, which would be far less wasteful and. cheaper for the customer. There are better distributors out there, so this is a pass for me.”
