“Warning My own experience of mystayINN was akin to being scammed - an incredibly unprofessional business. We initially struggled to access their hosts property because no info had been sent. They then failed to fix a significant fault highlighted to them. And finally they accused us and wrongfully charged us for a breakage which we absolutely did not do. They were arrogant and dismissive and could/would not provide us with their data/privacy policy - which I believe is a lawful requirement - following their overseas deposit partner requiring passports and facial images from us. mystayINN’s thin veneer of professionalism and ‘tech’ was quickly exposed to be a business that may not be complying with regulatory requirements. Very worrying. A report to the Information Commissioners Office has been made. Their deposit partner suggested we claim on our household insurance, thereby committing fraud! Extraordinary. Booking. com investigated our experience with mystayINN and very decently made us a goodwill payment and Mastercard found in our favour re the brazen deposit claim. If you Google their shareholder Directors, you’ll see it appears they’ve acted in breach of planning laws in Edinburgh. You wouldn’t consult a Doctor who acted outside of medical regulations, so why would you use a property manager who seems to have wilfully breached planning laws? You can - and should - verify this for yourself. Finally, a simple credit search reveals a business that, according to latest accounts, may not be particularly solvent - negative net worth and zero cash. I wouldn’t want my own property portfolio managed by this outfit. And neither would I be a guest of their properties again. Proceed with caution. Please do your own checks and reach your own conclusions.”
