I rented a flat for the last couple of years via Splendid Property. The agency has consistently been prompt, friendly, and helpful in addressing any questions and repairs. Our landlord could be difficult to reach sometimes, but the agency did everything in their power to facilitate good communication and get issues resolved as quickly as possible. In particular, Donny Hlabangana and Martyna were an excellent help to us throughout our time in the flat. I have rented via quite a few agencies over the years and Donny and Martyna have by far been the friendliest and most helpful agents I've ever worked with. I'd highly recommend them.

5 stars for Donny!!! I rented with splendid for just shy of 3 years. At the very start all communication were with a man called Lewis who was super rude and unprofessional, when I contacted him about my bed being broken and being supported by old books, pillows, timber underneath I was told to sleep on the floor and he then went on to phone my housemate complaining about me ….I really could go on and on about how rude he was. Thankfully Donny joined the company , he is polite, quick to respond to any requests and just overall really good at his job! Thank you Donny for helping us and making our experience with splendid more enjoyable, we appreciate it.

We rented with Splendid for over 1 year and would definitely recommend their service. When we did have a flat visit, or had to call them, they were always really nice and we felt the benefit of a real personal touch. Maybe they just liked us a lot! We found them quite flexible on a number of issues and when we did complain to them (there is one example I am thinking of) they were very courteous and took our feedback on board right away. When emergency repairs were needed at the property they were happy for us to deal with their plumber and other contractors directly which made the process really smooth. The deposit was returned in full and the moving out process was made really easy for us. There are some negatives, as I want to be totally fair: - The inventory was not up to date when we moved in, making it about 80% accurate. This was for both the items in the property and existing damage to the property (Splendid were happy for us to add to this inventory, we took pictures on a camera-phone of any damage not already noted). - No one was able to show us how to work the boiler/hot water or where the gas meter was, we figured these things out ourselves. - The flat had a damp problem that we made Splendid aware of, it would have been better for them to notify us about it. All in all a really good company to deal with with the positives far outweighing the negatives for us. Thanks, Amy and Terence
