“A must-do experience when in Edinburgh! The views of Edinburgh, the countryside, and Highland cows were amazing. The ponies are adorable and I didn't see one spook once as we passed hikers, dogs, and an active golf course. The trek leaders were really lovely and clearly cared about everyone's safety, riders and ponies, first and foremost! We had opportunities to trot and canter. The only thing that could possibly be improved is adding a quick stop for photos at the end of the hill climb. A few notes on logistics: There was helpful signage on the walk to the ponies from the parking area. Be aware there is no bathroom of any sort. I had pre-booked a taxi but you can also call an Uber from the parking area if needed.”

“This facility is very poorly managed by students of the Edinburgh veterinarian university. I have ridden all over the world and this ride was by far the worst l have done a total waste of money and time. The ponies are out of shape they constantly stop to eat and there is no way you can make them move. The entire time was a battle to try to keep the head of the pony straight. I never encountered in my life ponies that were so unfit and stubborn to ride. The vet students that manage this event are very unreasonable despite being polite. They have weight policies that are unrealistic and which promote that the ponies are in such bad shape to ride. They are fat unfit and stubborn. Please save yourself time and money and avoid this place. It is a real shame because the place we rode is beautiful we stop to see beautiful Highland cattle which was the best part of the ride as l could not wait to get off my pony. They should let people with real horsemanship and animal knowledge run this place and not young students who don’t know what they are doing.”
