Safety is assured at all times. The horses are beautifully cared for and treated as valued members of the team. Mrs. Comrie keeps her finger firmly on the pulse - she knows everything that’s happening, so the school runs with quiet efficiency and genuine care. Anne is a truly exceptional teacher and an inspiration. Many long-standing clients, like myself, are treated as family, and we all affectionately refer to ourselves as “the Houston family.” Riding here has been a joy, a comfort, wonderful exercise, and first-class recreation. “Very local riding school so was the first I thought of going to. Really efficient communication from instructors, I was asked first about my riding & what I'm looking to achieve, was told what I'd need to improve on and importantly also what I was doing well. Really good attention is paid to riders & I've only ever had good experiences here. My only complaint is that I can't afford to go more often & that's a me problem! I am also a novice rider and carry a lot of tension in my body; this is all accounted for & I know that here I am always treated with respect :) Would recommend Houston Farm riding school to anyone looking to start or improve on their riding!”

“This stables is neat and has nice horses. The 1 hour lesson took 15 mins to get everyone on the horses. Did not progress you at all and was kept at the same level. Evan with a private lesson where i was put back to the start on a lunge line. Is not good value for money.”
