“Update: 03/04/2024 My comments about the pre-sales team stand true from my original post, they are excellent, but the post-sales support is compareable to trying to catch raindrops with a sieve. Initially the support was good, but quickly dropped off to being ignored. Multiple chasers and no response. Only way to get someone to even look at a job is to raise a complaint, which even then gets acknowledged only if you phone the pre-sales team with your issues to create noise from their side to get it reviewed. We are on our way to 2 years in the property and our Day 1 snags are still being rectified. I edit this review as my frustration has hit a point where others should be aware. Now if you have any issue with your home, you are told to go to NHBC. The process of dealing with NHBC is incredibly frustrating. You raise a complaint with NHBC, who then tell you to call another firm, who give you some codes to take back to NHBC, who then send you a form to go another person. All extremely poorly optimised and Taylor Wimpey know this, and play on that supported by their Customer Service Director as the image attached shows. The issue is not the workmen who are sent out to rectify the issues, they are great, but its the management behind Taylor Wimpey who dictate the outcomes. Many times they agree with you that it would be a better experience to send someone out and rectify the issues without sending people through loopholes, as its them who then deals with frustrated customers spending nearly 2 years to have one issue fixed. A note on the Taylor Wimpey workmen, the original fitters of your home rarely come to rectify the issues. Many times you are sent a third party company (Ben Building Services) who come to clean up the mess left by Taylor Wimpey building contractors doing poor workmanship. A note on BBS, they have been superb even when jobs are miscommunicated every time to them on the effort required.”

“All your road closures have really been welcome. And the new houses are obviously going to be better than the lovely woodland area that used to be there. Something tells me there's going to be more flooding in this area when it's finished.”

“Very bad customer service. The sales agent did not explain anything to us, she only gave us some papers and told us to call another point of sale to go see the houses we wanted. We have literally been in her office for 20 minutes. They seem to sell so much that they don't care about new customers.”
