“Just back from a 3 city stay in Norway, organised brilliantly by Connoiseur Travel in Edinburgh. This was no out-of-a-brochure trip - I wanted to fly to Oslo, take the scenic train to Bergen and fly to Tromso for a (better) chance to see the Northern Lights. Other travel agents (eg TF) couldn't or wouldn't help, but Connoiseur managed it without any trouble, and made a number of suggested excursions, one of which was a fantastic Northern Lights Chase tour, in Tromso. This proved to be the highlight of the week, as we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights in all her glory. The minibus driver and guide was equally fantastic. Her enthusiasm for the Lights and desire to help all onboard the minibus with camera settings, tripods and hot chocolate, was infectious, genuine and warm (despite the -10 temperatures) and this really helped make the trip very special. We will remember our experiences and time there, forever. I took a lot of photos, and although some were a bit blurry and the selfies a bit iffy, many were great, despite using an older S10+ smartphone. I accept we were lucky to see the Lights but I couldn't handle the cloudy Edinburgh skies any longer and Connoiseur Travel made it happen for us.”
