The wait staff were considerate, attentive and polite - faultless service. We loved everything we had for dinner tonight (haggis tikka chaat was a big winner!) and want to come back to work our way through the menu. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough”

“Bombay Bistro in is fairly new to Tollcross/Bruntsfield area. Their menu is East‑meets‑West. I went in to try their Festive Menu which is £45pp for a lot of food. Starting with the creamy masala lobster bisque which was super tasty with a nice big juicy prawn and the herd crusted lamb chops that had loads of flavour but they were overcooked. The turkey in makhani sauce was a highlight - that sauce which is predominantly tomato based with very little spice - was perfect for dunking just about everything else in it. The lamb shank was succulent and tasty but again not a lot of heat. We tucked into 4 sides - brussels which were undercooked, the potatoes packed a punch, the naan was fine and the coconut cabbage was delicious. The sticky toffee cheesecake, I would skip. The poppadoms were a let down and the mulled wine was overpowered with clove. The staff are friendly. All in all, a nice Indian restaurant and I do like the marriage of east meets west!”

“Absolutely delicious!!!! There is a wide range of delicious dishes from curries all the way to Scottish Fusion dishes. There are even Indian Tapas to try lots of amazing things. Not only was the food incredible but the staff were so lovely and welcoming. There are also plenty of gluten-free options available!”
