“We have known Susan for a number of years and, having seen her interior design work, we loved her style and vision. We approached Susan to go into partnership to purchase a property which she could renovate and design. We had a pretty tight budget and Susan was totally pragmatic about that and found fantastically creative ways to achieve the right look for the apartment - traditional and working with the heritage of the building, but funky with some brilliantly quirky pieces of furniture (such as a couple of bass drums to use as coffee tables!) which are great talking pieces. She created a cosy and comfortable space which is perfectly suited to the rental market whilst feeling homely when we stay ourselves. We’re based near London so it was great to be able to leave our Edinburgh home in safe hands - the property is almost unrecognisable from the original apartment! Susan’s creativity when it came to furniture choice and artworks also made such a difference and delivered the cosy, warm yet stylish home we were looking for!
