“Absolutely brilliant and so pleased we chose to go with Cavalry, we could not recommend them more highly. First class from start to finish, they made the whole process so easy and took out all of the stress of moving. They were really reasonably priced and we compared everything from big impersonal Edinburgh companies right through to local 'Man with a Van' outfits and Cavalry were the best of both worlds. A professional setup but still a local company with staff. Calvary helped us move house within Innerleithen in January 2026 and were fantastic from start to finish. Andy came out to see our house and give us a cost for packing and moving. He took the time to explain the whole process as we'd never used a removals company before and we weren't sure how the packing side of things worked. He explained everything and gave us different options of removals only or removals and packing etc. They came in the day before our move and Alan + Scott (who were brilliant) packed up everything, all well packaged, carefully handled and keeping us updated throughout the day so we could plan for cleaning that evening too. They are super quick, efficient, professional, friendly and polite! On moving day, we had a full team helping with the move and again they were so efficient, professional and just brilliant. The rest of the house was packed and emptied within hours, and straight round to the new house ready to be unpacked and unloaded. For both the removals and also unpacking in to the new house they took the time to check with us where all the boxes were going and make sure that things went in to the right boxes/rooms. They had half the team inside the house, with shoes off, and the others doing the outside unpacking in the pouring rain. They laid down sheets to protect our floors and really took great care of our new house. I can not fault them and I would use them and recommend them to everyone I know in a heartbeat. “A fabulous company from start to finish! We had a last minute change of moving date outwith our control and Andy was extremely understanding and accommodating. We moved from a top floor flat in Edinburgh on a pretty warm day and the team worked tirelessly throughout and took great care of our belongings. They were all extremely polite, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. This was the least stressful part of our move, everything ran like clockwork and they took time to make sure everything was where we wanted it before heading off.
